I had seen this type of recipe on some TV show-not the same but similar. So tried to do something different. This Cheese cake is very easy to make and probable is not heavy. For base I used Marie cookies or Digestive biscuits-these are very light, sweet and dry cookies and make a great base.
Steps to make Boondi Ladoo Cheesecake:
- First make our base by grinding the biscuits along with butter and arranging it at the base if our dishe
- Take the hung curd, cream cheese, sugar and elachi powder and whisk well. You can grind the same too
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the biscuit base
- Crumble the ladoos and spread them over the cheesecake mixture
- Spread the leftover cream cheese batter over the Boondi ladoo. Garnish with pistachio slivers
- Let the cheesecake cool for an hour or two before serving
This Cheese cake is very easy to make and probable is not heavy. For base I used Marie cookies or Digestive biscuits-these are very light, sweet and dry cookies and make a great base. METHOD Crush the digestive biscuits in a food processor until they turn into a fine powder. Add the melted butter and pulse again until they're completely mixed. The mixture should resemble wet sand.
