  11. Make ready 3 tbs Cornflour / 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs …. To be adjusted
  12. Get 1/4 cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
  13. Get to taste Salt
  14. Make ready 3 tsp Oil for cooking the prawn mixture
  15. Make ready 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  16. Get Oil as required for shallow frying the cutlets
  17. Prepare For dusting the cutlets
  18. Take 2 tbs Cornflour
  19. Make ready 2 tbs Rice Flour
  20. Make ready 4 tbs Semolina

How to make Prawn Cutlet-Crispy and delicious prawn cutlets. Dust them with flour, then dip in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs. Ensure that the cutlets are coated properly. Peel the prawns, leaving the tails attached.

Steps to make Prawn cutlets:
  1. To make Prawn Cutlets, wash the shelled and deveined prawns under clean water and drain. Chop them roughly and apply lemon juice and 2 pinches turmeric powder and set aside.
  2. Heat a saucepan and add oil to it. When it heats up, add the chopped green chilli and the ginger garlic paste and saute.
  3. Add the chopped onions and saute for a while.
  4. When they turn translucent, add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  5. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy. Add the chopped prawns, garam masala powder and salt to taste.
  6. Saute for about two to three minutes. Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  7. Cool the mixture well and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  8. Add the grated potatoes, chaat masala and the cornflour/breadcrumbs. Adjust seasoning as per taste. Mix well.
  9. Divide the mixture into 6 parts and roll into cutlets of desired shape.
  10. Dust with the cornflour, rice flour and semolina mixture.
  11. Heat a pan and add oil to it for shallow frying the cutlets.
  12. Release the cutlets one at a time in the pan and fry on medium to high heat.
  13. When one side turns crispy, flip and cook the other side too.
  14. When the cutlets are crispy on both sides, transfer to an absorbent paper.
  15. Serve these delicious Prawn Cutlets with a dip of your choice and some sliced onions and salad to complement it!

Ensure that the cutlets are coated properly. Peel the prawns, leaving the tails attached. Take a small sharp knife and cut a line along the back of each. prawn cutlet.
