Granola/Protein Bars is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They are nice and they look wonderful. Granola/Protein Bars is something which I have loved my whole life.
To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have granola/protein bars using 11 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.
The ingredients needed to make Granola/Protein Bars:
- Make ready 1/2 cup walnut
- Take 1/2 cup almond
- Get 1/2 cup pistachios
- Get 3/4 cup dates cut into small pieces
- Get 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- Take 1/2 cup figs cut into pieces
- Make ready 1/2 cup raisins (normal) & black ones mixed
- Make ready 1/2 cup rolled oats
- Take 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
- Get as per taste Jaggery/Honey
- Prepare 2 tbsp ragi flour (optional)
Instructions to make Granola/Protein Bars:
- Dry roast cashew, almond, pistachios, walnuts, oats and ragi flour & keep them aside. Now crush the above roasted items. Now mix all the remaining ingredients in a big bowl.
- Now if you are using honey mis 2 tbsp of honey to it and if you are using jaggery then in a bowl take 1 tbsp of water then add jaggery as per your taste and melt it completely by boiling. Now add the jaggery syrup to the dry mixture and make it like a dough.
- Now grease a tray with some oil/ghee and place the mixture in the tray by pressing them gently as shown in the image.
- Now keep it in a refrigerator for an hour and cut them into pieces, according to your choice. You can also form ladoos and keep them in air tight container. And setting them in a tray you can even bake them like cookies but that's again optional or else you can consume them as it is..
