Instructions to make Rainbow cake:
- Add sugar, butter, oil and vanilla extract into a bowl. Beat for 4 minutes until it is light.
- Now add eggs Mix together and at the end, add flour, baking powder and milk. Blend until all ingredients are mixed well.
- Now, divide your cake batter into four small bowls with same amount of batter. Then add food colouring.
- Transfer each one of coloured batter into a piping bag. - Preheat the oven to 175C.
- On a baking tray with parchment paper, pipe a line of one of coloured batter. Keep lining with all the other colours.
- Repeat a second layer on top of the first layer (as you see in the photos).
- Bake the cake for 15 minutes. Once cake is baked, take out of the oven. Let to cool and remove from the baking tray.
- With a heart shape cutter cut out cake pieces.
