Bolognese sauce is a classic Italian sauce for pasta made with ground meat such as beef or pork. It's slow cooked with a soffritto of onions, carrots, and celery, tomatoes, and milk to give it a creamy texture. I loved every bit of it and will make it again. I love Marcella Hazan's bolognese and have been making it for well over the past year.

Steps to make Bolognese Sauce:
  1. Melt 10 g butter in pan, add in carrot, celery and onion and sweat it.
  2. Add in minced meat and sauté it.
  3. Pour in red wine if you want.
  4. Add in Tomato Purée and Tomato Diced, and add bay leaves in.
  5. Pour in cream and 25 g butter and mix well.
  6. Add in oregano and seasonings and ENJOY!!

I loved every bit of it and will make it again. I love Marcella Hazan's bolognese and have been making it for well over the past year. A classic Bolognese Sauce should be in every home cook's repertoire! My version is smooth, rich, hearty and slow cooked to perfection.
